For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die… (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a ESV).

A Time to Be Born!

Indeed, after many long years, Gideon’s Book is now available as an eBook (Kindle) on Amazon, and (until 5/20) for only $.99.

More, my debut novel will be released on May 20th in paperback form–$17.99 on Amazon.

I’m over the moon, and I’m giving God all the glory!

Indeed…

[I] will proclaim his righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it (Psalm 22:31 NIV)!

Yes, to a people yet unborn!

After all, that’s the real purpose for Gideon’s Book–to share a biblical message in story-form to encourage readers to consider those “yet unborn.”

As Psalm 139 so beautifully proclaims–

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be (vv. 13-16 NLT).

And after all the years since God first whispered, the Bible by the bed, to my heart–nearly two decades ago, in fact–for Gideon’t Book to be born now…

Well, I’m trusting it has arrived–

… for such a time as this (Esther 4:14 ESV).

Honestly, there were so many moments over all those years when I just wanted to chuck the whole thing, saying to myself, Who would even care?

But I knew–God would care. And I believed–BELIEVE!–it is Him who called me to write this story which, in truth, is the weaving together of several true stories. And again…

… for such a time as this!

I don’t know its purpose entirely, but I do know I’ve been obedient, and so, I rest in this truth–trusting God for the ultimate outcome of Gideon’s Book.

*******

A Time to Die.

Well, not “die” exactly–but come to an end.

Yes, after years of blogging here on Penning Pansies–with personal stories of tragedy and triumph, guest contributors, author spotlights, and poetry, just to name some–I’m saying goodbye to this chapter.

BUT…

All my blog posts (minus much of the photography) have been safely saved on my new website “Windows and Wallflowers” (www.maureenmillerauthor.com).

There, I’ll continue to write regularly, not to mention offer a monthly newsletter (and a free gift when you subscribe) with lots of good, inspiring information too.

I hope you’ll join me at “Windows and Wallflowers” and continue to enjoy–

Discovering God’s extraordinary character in the ordinary of life.

I love you all, and I’m so very grateful for how you’ve supported me over the years.

You know, this isn’t really goodbye but just…

See you later!

Blessings and oodles of love–

Your sister in Christ,

Maureen
